Imam Hamid Slimi is the founder of the Sayeda Khadija Centre in Mississauga, where he has served the community for many years. He is the founder and president of the Faith of Life Network, founder and chairman of the Canadian Centre for Deen Studies, and a lecturer at the Islamic Institute of Toronto. He served as Chairman of the Canadian Council of Imams from 2006 to 2013.
