- What is a nikah certificate?
- A nikah certificate is a keepsake that records your Islamic marriage. It carries the couple's names, the date and place of the nikah, and a Surah or verse of your choosing, presented as artwork you can frame and keep.
- Is this a legal marriage document?
- No. The nikah certificate is a beautiful personal keepsake, not a government marriage licence. Your legal marriage record comes from the Province of Ontario when a registered officiant completes the paperwork. Many couples keep both.
- Can I choose a different Surah or verse?
- Yes. Surah Ar-Rahman is our default because of its meaning for couples, but you can request any Surah or verse. Just tell us when you place your order.
- What language options are available?
- You can choose your preferred language for the certificate text, including English and Arabic. Let us know your preference and we will design around it.
- How long does it take to receive?
- Once we have your details and design approval, your certificate is printed, framed, and prepared for delivery across the Greater Toronto Area. Reach out and we will confirm timing for your date.
