1Can an imam in Markham legally marry us in Ontario?

2Do we need an Ontario marriage licence before the nikah?

If you want the marriage legally registered, yes. You must obtain a marriage licence from a city hall or municipal office before the ceremony, and bring it on the day. The imam cannot issue the licence for you. For a religious-only nikah, no licence is required.

3What languages can the nikah be conducted in Markham?
