ImamConnect("ImamConnect", "we", "us") operates imamconnect.ca, a platform that helps families in the Greater Toronto Area connect with imams for their nikah ceremony. Imams listed on our platform are independent and are not employees or agents of ImamConnect. We facilitate the introduction; the ceremony itself is provided by the imam.

By using our website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Submitting a request through ImamConnect is not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only once we or the imam confirm availability with you directly. We aim to respond within 24 hours, inshaAllah, but response times are not guaranteed.

Browsing imams, submitting a request, and being matched is free for families. There is no platform fee or booking charge added to what you arrange. Any fee for the ceremony itself, or for add-ons such as photography, is arranged with the imam or partner providing that service.

If a confirmed imam is unable to attend, we will make our best effort to arrange another qualified imam matched to your ceremony, language, and location so your nikah can proceed. This is a good-faith commitment and depends on imam availability; it is not a guarantee of a specific outcome, imam, or timing, and we are not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Each imam profile clearly indicates whether the imam is a registered marriage officiant in Ontario or performs the religious ceremony only. If you require a legally registered marriage, you are responsible for obtaining an Ontario marriage licence from a municipal office before the ceremony. ImamConnect does not issue marriage licences and does not provide legal advice. Please confirm any legal requirements with the appropriate authorities.

Imams are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, including credentials, languages, and areas served. We review applications before publishing but do not independently verify every detail. By submitting a profile, photo, or recitation sample, an imam confirms they have the right to share it and grants ImamConnect permission to display it on the platform. Imams may request removal of their profile at any time.

You agree to provide accurate information and to use the platform respectfully and lawfully. You must not misuse the site, submit false requests, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems.

The platform may reference or link to third-party services, such as a recommended photographer. Those services are provided by independent third parties under their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ImamConnect is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any ceremony arranged through it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount, if any, you paid to ImamConnect.

You agree to indemnify and hold ImamConnect harmless from any claims or costs arising from your use of the platform or your breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "last updated" date above will be revised.
