Meet Amna · Photos by Amna

Nikah and Muslim wedding photographer in Toronto and the GTA

Our recommended photographer for nikah ceremonies, walimas, and couple shoots. Based in Toronto, available across the Greater Toronto Area.

A nikah goes by quickly. The signing, the dua, the moment your families exhale and start hugging each other. Amna photographs Muslim weddings across Toronto and the GTA, and her whole approach is built around catching those moments as they actually happen rather than staging them afterward.

Her work blends artistic composition with candid moments, creating space for you to be yourself so your photos feel both true and timeless. Before she ever picked up a camera, she was telling stories through her drawings, coding games, and creative photos with deeply thought-out captions. Over time, photographing people became her passion, a way to blend her visual instincts with genuine, heartfelt moments. Today she lives for the raw, unscripted stuff, a stolen glance, a spontaneous laugh. She finds real joy in showing people a beautiful side of themselves they didn't even know was there, and it shows in every gallery she delivers.

With Amna as your photographer, she is with you every step of the way, from the first conversation to the moment you receive your gallery. Whether it is a nikah at your local mosque, a full wedding and walima, or an intimate couple shoot, her goal is to make the experience seamless and meaningful, so you can simply enjoy being present while she takes care of the rest.

Good to know

Nikah photography questions

1How much does a nikah photographer cost in Toronto?

It depends on how many hours you need and whether you want video as well. A short nikah ceremony needs far less coverage than a full wedding day with a walima. Tell us your date and what you have in mind, and we will come back with a clear price before you commit to anything.

2Can we book a photographer just for the nikah ceremony?

Yes. Plenty of couples have a small nikah at home, at a mosque, or at a banquet hall, and only want an hour or two of coverage. You do not need to book a full wedding package.

3Do you photograph nikah ceremonies at mosques?

Yes. Amna has photographed ceremonies at mosques, banquet halls, family homes, and outdoors across the GTA. If your mosque has rules about photography during the ceremony, let us know and we will plan around them.

4Is a female photographer available for our nikah?

Yes. Amna is a female photographer, which many families prefer for the bride's side and for gatherings where guests would rather not be photographed by a man.

5How do we book a photographer for our nikah?

You do not need to arrange it separately. When you submit your nikah request, tick Photographer / videographer under add-ons, and we will coordinate the session around your ceremony so the imam and the photography are handled together.

6How long until we get our photos?

You will receive a full edited gallery after the wedding. Amna stays in touch from the first conversation through to delivery, so you always know where things stand.
